Please note
There is a £20.00 registration fee.
Notice of leaving must be one paid month.
If your child misses any of their sessions, payment is still due.

If Our Place’s Pre-School cancels a session, a full refund will be made to paying children.

We are collecting:

  • Tesco vouchers
  • Sainsbury vouchers
  • Nestle Box Tops
  • Mobile phones - they don't have to work, have a charger or have a battery!

Hours – Monday to Thursday - 9.30am to 12pm and Fri 9.15am to 11.45am and 12.00pm to 2.30pm (bring their lunch!)

Fees are to be paid on the first week of each half term.
6.
Government grants starts the term after the child turns three, subject to government ruling at the time.

Our Place Pre-School aims to achieve the governments six learning goals for all over three year olds:
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development,
  • Communication, Language and Literacy,
  • Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World,
  • Physical Development,
  • Creative Development.

We achieve this through play and using different equipment and strategies every day.
9.
We encourage the children to become independent and to play in harmony with others.
10.
Our aim is to provide a safe and happy environment for your child to begin their first experience of education.
11.
Please tell us about your child’s medical history. Also the name and telephone number of the child’s doctor.
12.
We operate a key person system. This means one member of staff will take a particular interest in your child and record their development throughout their stay with us. If you have any concerns you can either talk to your child’s key person or a supervisor. All records are stored in a lockable cupboard upstairs and you are more than welcome to view them at any time. These are totally confidential.
13.
Our Place Pre-School policies are available at the entrance hall and on your child joining the Pre-School you will be given your own copy.
14.
Copies of the registration and the insurance documents are also available. The ofsted inspection is available at the entrance.
15.
All safety precautions are taken (fire, health and safety) these are regularly checked.
16.
We have a fire drill every half term.
17.
Our Place Pre-School provides morning fruit and drinks. Children have a choice of milk or water. Please tell us of any allergies.
18.
Pre-School sweatshirts, T-shirts, book bags and hats are available to order.
19.
In the year we have an outing to a place of interest to the children. Parents or an adult are required to accompany the children.
20.
At Christmas we hold a nativity play and a children’s party and Christmas stalls, Easter bonnet parade. A video and photographer will visit during the year. Throughout the year we have the school link book company and a variety of other interesting books to look through.
21.
Please check the notice board each week to keep yourselves up to date with the latest information.
22.
At the end of each session the children will be kept in the room until you have collected all their things together. If someone other than you is collecting your child please write it in the Door Diary in the morning. We will not let them go if we do not know the person collecting them.
23.
We will be taking your child outside in all weathers, so please make sure they have appropriate clothing. We use the small concrete area at the back of the building and also the green at the front of the building.
24.
All parents must read all our policies and sign to say they have been read on the child entering the pre-school.
